Some tips when measuring for blinds:
| Use a metal tape measure and measure in millimetres for accuracy |
| Consider whether you want blinds inset or standing proud |
| Measure the area that you want to cover, not just the window |
| If your fabric is narrower then the window, you can make a feature by adding a border around it |
Ideally get your curtainmaker to both measure and look at the site to anticipate issues that might arise when fixing the blind.
